We recommend the following steps:
- Contact the Funeral Director: At a local level, St. James Funeral Home works with several local masjids familiar with Muslim burial practices (631-584-5200). Alternatively, you can choose any other funeral director of your choice. Pricing varies and we suggest that you shop around.
- Contact your local Masjid to help you secure a gravesite, where the deceased will be buried. The following. Masajid Have gravesites available and you can contact them directly.

5 . Set up a time for Janaza prayer with your local Masjid
6 . Proceed to the burial ground after the Janaza prayer. Your funeral Director will facilitate the transfer arrangements.
